Executive Body

Our Executive Committee-comprising of 7 individuals elected by the general members for 2 years act as executive body at policy and strategy level.

Chairman
Dr. Golam Rahman

Prof. Golam Rahman (Ph.D) is the key, inventive, mission-driven pioneer, with more than 50 years working experience as Teaching Profession. He is the founder Vice Chancellor of Khulna University and United International University in Bangladesh. He also overseen Faculty of Architecture and Planning as Dean in BUET.

Vice-Chairman
Md. Faizur Rahman

Md. Faizur Rahman is a renewed Businessman as well as the Vice Chairman of DRRA. He was awarded Business Excellence Awards – 2014, Singapore also received Sofol Khudro Uddyogta Somomanona Podok – 2014 for his contribution. In 2017 he received the FOBANA Business power award at Florida, North America.

Secretary 
Farida Yesmin

Farida Yesmin is the member secretary and founder of Disabled Rehabilitation & Research Association (DRRA). She contributed as a national disability expert as well as member of National Steering Committee and founder board of trustees of JPUF and NDD Trust. She is a board member of Global CBR Network and Chair of Asia-Pacific CBR Network.

Vice-Chairman
Dr. Dalem Chandra Barman

Prof. Dalem Chandra Barman (Ph.D) is the vice-chair of DRRA. He is leading ASA University as Vice Chancellor more than 8 years. He is the author of different famous books and articles focused on development sector. Books titled "Village Voice", "Different Ways to Support the Rural Poor" and "Emerging Leadership Pattern in Rural Bangladesh" are one of his contribution to the development sector.

Treasurer
Md. Nazmul Haque

Md. Nazmul Haque is the Treasurer of DRRA. He is also a successful entrepreneur in the field of Information, Communication and Technology (ICT). He is the founder of ACL Technology and currently acts as Chief Executive Officer (CEO). 

Member
Shathika Hossain

Shathika Hossain is one of the member of DRRA. She has been practicing as an Advocate at Supreme Court of Bangladesh since 1999. She also contributed in the judicial system as assistant attorney general for Bangladesh from 2005 to 2009. 

Member
Md. Kamrul Islam

Md. Kamrul Islam is one of the member of DRRA. He is rewound cultural activist in Bangladesh. His writings in media about the rights of persons with disabilities increase the self-steam and social awareness.
